Its Kirsty's tutorial today

Have you seen the lush rainbow ribbon at Fantastic Ribbons? Puh! I dare you not to love it. Its double sided satin and the colours vary on each side giving you lots of options to mix and match your colours. Ive made a bow that can be attached to a hair clip, alice band and whatever you fancy. You know, bags and such like.

Here we go:
You need
2 lengths at 12 inches
1 length at 8 inches
3 pieces of wire (at about 3 inches long)
Hot glue gun
Wax paper

First fold a piece of 12 inch ribbon so that the middle tail is in the centre of the 3.5" loop and the other tail extends 1 inches from the loop
Secure the centre of the loop with wire and twist off the ends
Do exactly the same with the other 12 inch piece of ribbon
Wire the two loops together now then make a single knot in the centre of the 8 inch piece.
Now lay the knot over the join of the two loops

Carefully turn over and glue on the bare wire of the two loops. Fold one length of ribbon onto the hot glue, hold and secure for a few secondd and then snip it short. Then hot glue on the snipped ribbon piece and fold the other ribbon piece over and secure by pressing until it adheres (a couple of seconds)
Snip to excess ribbon so that you wont see it from the front
Snip the tail ends in a diagonal to finish.
You could hot glue the ribbon to a clip but use the wax paper between the grip so you don't glue the grip together. Or perhaps use with a safety pin to make an accessory and so on.

Perfect for little girls who love all the colours of the rainbow!

PSSSST!
Give away still open two posts below. Closes Sunday.
